Action Type: Approved
Conditions:

After being tabled at the meeting on 10/4/18, the applicant was asked to provide an additional alternative for a contractor with the capaity to decostruct the rear structure and potentially salvage materials in a way that would not require the demolition of the front building on the parcel. The Committee wanted confirmation whether the front building could be salvaged.

Applicant met with Joe Rettman from Encore Building Material, who confirmed in summary:

There is nothing architecturally or construction wise or any historical value or merit inside the houses and/or their designs.

It is cost prohibitive to do anything else except for demolish and rebuilt. The best use of the property at this time is to demo, backfill with clean fill and topsoil, seed to existing grade. Rebuild at a later time.

This meeting was held remotely as there was only one project on the meeting agenda.
